Superformance MKII FIA SPFR0010 For Sale
Whether on a winding back road or your favorite racetrack, this Superformance MKII FIA is ready for action. Adorned in Viking Blue with yellow nose stripe and painted white roundels, SPFR0010 evokes the glory days of the race-dominating FIA Cobras introduced in 1962. Period detailing includes the gas cap wind deflector, black quick jacks and roll hoop, wind wings, Shelby stainless spinners, and Raydot rearview mirror and passenger side mirror.
That performance spirit extends under the hood, where a 500 horsepower Ford Performance Boss 363 c.i.d. crate engine resides. Fitted with period correct Weber carburetors, vintage style engine dress, vintage catch can, and silver ceramic headers, the engine looks as good as it performs.
The Superformance MKII is built on the Tojeiro-styled round tube chassis and features a transverse leaf front and rear independent suspension, with custom adjustable SPAX shocks, for an authentic driving experience. A ZF differential transfers the power to the pavement, while 4-piston Wilwood brakes bring everything down from speed.
The cockpit is a welcoming driving environment, with shoulder harnesses with roll bar mount, wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel, fully carpeted black interior and rear firewall/bulkhead.
SPFR0010 has CA SB100 smog exempt registration. It has 1,335 miles and is available for $139,950.
