1965 Cobra Superformance MKIII 427SC
Superformance MKIII SP02153 is a Jet Black MKIII 427S/C. Finished with all chrome trim on headlights, turn signals, roll bar, and even the brass Windscreen frame.
On the inside SP02153 has period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas Ammeter Gauge in the period correct dash layout. The doors are secure by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe for increased strength and support. Dashes are wrapped in leather as are the steel framed seats which offer period correct webbing for comfort and aesthetics.
All Superformance MKIII's feature a high performance aluminum radiator with twin electric fans that are thermostatically controlled. Also, this MKIII has a period correct oil cooler with shroud and fittings. All Superformance MKIII's come standard with a Limited Slip Differential and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes.
SP02153 is completed with a Ford Racing 392 Windsor making 430HP 450TQ and is mated to a Tremec TKO500 5 speed manual transmission.
